Assistant Director of Finance

Ambient People is recruiting an interim Assistant Director of Finance and the deputy section 151 officer for a local authority in the south of England. 

With oversight of the corporate, strategic and technical finance functions, you will help shape the direction of the local authority, drive forward service reform and play a key role in helping to deliver on a financial improvement plan.

This is a key role during a key time for an ambitious local authority. For an initial period of six months pending permanent recruitment, there is significant scope to have an impact during your time in this post.
