Finance Analyst

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Finance Analyst to support budget monitoring and reporting for Temporary Accommodation, a high-profile, demand-led area that represents a key budget pressure within the Council. In this role, you’ll work closely with a Data Analyst to build and maintain financial models in Excel, providing clear, actionable insight into spend and trends.

Each month, you'll produce a report summarising financial performance, highlighting key variances, and providing commentary on service changes. This is a great opportunity to apply your financial modelling and analysis skills in a high-impact environment. While experience in Temporary Accommodation is an advantage, experience in other demand-led services such as Adults or Childrens Social Care would be transferable.
