Closing Lead

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Closing Lead to support their Chief Accountant in the preparation and delivery of their annual statement of accounts. You will need to hit the ground running, joining during a busy audit period.

This position requires a CCAB/CIMA qualified or part-qualified Financial Accountant with experience working on year end accounts ideally within a local authority before. You will need to support with project managing your team to ensure the successful delivery of the accounts. You’ll need both strong technical skills as well as the ability to communicate with the team and wider finance colleagues.
