Finance Manager - MTFS

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Finance Manager to support the council’s financial strategy. The main focus of this role will be supporting the preparation of a sustainable Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) and coordinating budget monitoring.

Ideally you will be a CCAB/CIMA qualified Accountant with previous experience in financial planning and supporting the MTFS for a local authority. Having a good understanding of local government finance, grants and returns will be essential, along with the ability to drill down into large data sets and financial models to get the relevant information.
