Ambient People is recruiting an interim Head of Finance (Deputy S151 Officer) for a district council in the south of England. 

You will provide leadership to the finance function including the corporate and technical, business partnering and exchequer services team. Specifically, you will act as the financial controller, with most day to day involvement driving the work and standards of the technical and corporate functions. 

This is an initial 6 month assignment with attendance at evening committee meetings necessary. Beyond that, a flexible working policy operates.
