Head of Revenues / Income Collection Service

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Service to join our local authority client’s senior leadership team at the Council. This interim role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage an Income Collection service, in the midst of change, overseeing a diverse range of revenue streams, including Council Tac and Debt Recovery.

As Head of Service, you will provide assurance that the Council delivers cost-effective, high-quality services while meeting policy objectives. You will lead all aspects of operations and ensure customer-centric services.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the Council’s overall debt, setting practices, and monitoring arrangements, alongside being the Council lead for welfare reform.

This is a London-based role, inside IR35, offering up to £450 per day. Experience in Council Tax and Debt Recovery is essential, with IVVR experience an advantage.
