Pensions Accountant

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Pension Fund Accountant. Working in a forward-thinking organisation you will play a key role in supporting a substantial pension fund over £1billion. As such key duties will include;

• Overseeing the financial aspects of the pension fund, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
• Preparing accurate and timely financial reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
  
  

Experience working with pensions in a local government environment would be highly desirable. However, experience working with pension funds in a similar size organisation or if you are a quick learner with good local government accounting experience then your application is still welcomed.
