Principal Accountant

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Principal Accountant to support their Adult Social Care directorate during a busy period.

Alongside supporting budget holders across the service, you’ll play a key role in helping the team meet upcoming year-end demands, ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective budget management.

The successful candidate will be CCAB/CIMA qualified or part-qualified, with strong experience in Adult Social Care finance within a local authority setting. You’ll bring excellent communication skills, able to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues, alongside strong attention to detail and a flair for numbers.
