Schools Finance Manager

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Schools Finance Manager to support schools across the borough with financial reporting and compliance.

This role will involve working closely with schools to ensure their finances are accurately reported and meet local authority requirements. You’ll play a key role in providing guidance and oversight, helping schools maintain strong financial management practices.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of school accounts, alongside previous experience working within a school or in education finance in a local authority setting.

Strong relationship-building skills will be essential, as you’ll be working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. You’ll also bring strong attention to detail and confidence working with financial data.
