Job Title – Assistant Financial Accountant

£300 per day inside IR35

Remote Working

3-6 months with immediate start

We’re currently working with a local authority providing fully remote working, who are looking for additional support throughout financial year-end. They are looking for someone with a pragmatic and conscientious working attitude with experience in a local government finance setting. This therefore creates a great opportunity for someone looking to gain additional experience in year-end activities and further their local government finance experience.

Main responsibilities will include preparing routine journals, assisting with year-end activities and supporting the wider financial accounting team with the preparation of working papers. It will be a broad role to support the team where needed, providing a range of learning opportunities and the chance to progress your career in local government.

Applicants should be working towards an AAT or CCAB qualification with good excel skills and experience working in a local government finance setting.
