Finance Manager – Public Health

This is a great opportunity to contribute to a local authorities Adults and Public Health finance team. Reporting into the Head of Finance, we’re looking for a strong business partner, capable of providing financial scrutiny and advice to a vital service, to guide decision making and improve outcomes. This role will suit a driven and proactive professional, happy digging into the detail and working closely with non-financial stakeholders.

The post holder will work to manage and maintain monthly budgets, requiring them to be hands on and analytical in their approach, as well as personable and communicative. Prior local government experience is therefore vital to understand the challenges facing such an important function.
