Financial Assessment Team Leader

We’re working on an exciting new role with a Local Authority for their Adult’s Social Care team. The post holder will lead the Financial Assessments team to provide control and supervision and ensure people’s benefits are identified and maximised. The team is tasked with identifying when support is needed to manage individuals’ finances by working with the wider service to ensure correct financial management, therefore prior understanding of Financial Assessment and Benefits within a local authority is essential.

This is an important role for the council and for people receiving support, creating a fantastic opportunity to have real impact. Clear communication skills will be vital to work closely with a range of service users combined with an organised and well managed workload and managerial experience. This role is continuity cover pending permanent recruitment.
