This is a vital role for a local authority to lead on economic growth and regeneration, providing leadership and co-coordination for the council’s strategy. It’s a great opportunity to deliver on interesting projects and programmes and effectively bring together internal and external stakeholders. The role will suit an entrepreneurial individual with experience engaging with private and public sector partners to develop capitalisation and economic growth opportunities.

The post holder will work closely with the Service Director to develop their growth strategy and promote regeneration and investigate and access new funding streams. Experience leading on Town Centre planning is desirable along with team management and project delivery.
