Interim Finance Manager

A London local authority is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager (Strategic Capital & Investment) to provide senior leadership across its capital programme and major investment activity. This assignment will play a pivotal role in strengthening corporate consolidation of capital budgets, overseeing the authority’s Minimum Revenue Provision (MRP) considerations, and ensuring robust financial management of regeneration capital and project‑based capital schemes. You will support delivery of accurate capital modelling, enhance reporting and governance, and provide high‑quality financial insight to senior officers.

The successful candidate will have strong public‑sector capital finance experience, particularly across complex regeneration programmes, project capital management, and corporate capital consolidation. You will be confident navigating capital accounting rules, advising on MRP implications, and supporting decision‑making in politically sensitive environments.
