Management Accountant – Education

This is a key role for a Council in the South Midlands, to support in the monthly management accounts for the education team. It’s a role that will require experience in local government budgetary control, forecasting and report writing, and provides a great opportunity to support the council through their next annual cycle.

The post holder will work closely with the business partnering team, to ensure that quality financial information is presented to key stakeholders, therefore a strong eye for detail and good analytical skills will be vital. We’re looking for someone that will work well with the wider team, being proactive and investigatory to support budget holders where needed.

Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, the post will be instrumental in providing information that will shape decision making for the education team.
