Pensions Accountant

We’re looking for an experienced Pensions Accountant to join a local authority, supporting the delivery of high quality financial reporting and pension accounting.

You’ll play a key role in yearend closure, quarterly analysis and reconciliations, ensuring pension-related accounts are accurate, robust and delivered to deadline. You’ll also work closely with internal and external stakeholders across the council and London CIV, ensuring that comprehensive working papers, recs and supporting documentation are up to date and prepared for audit.

Reporting into the Pensions Fund Manager, this is a great opportunity for a pension accounting professional to contribute to a public sector finance team and make a real impact within a complex local government environment.
