Project Accountant

We’re currently working with a local authority’s commercial arm to help manage and maintain a range of ongoing projects. Working closely with their CFO and MD, they are looking for a confident business partner, able to produce high quality analysis and reports, to support decision making and financial strategy for these projects.

Due to the commercial element of the role, it’s a great opportunity for someone with a private sector background, looking to take a step towards the public sector. Experience of managing large complex developments, including building development consent orders, and a strong understanding of the financial, governance and regulatory frameworks that underpin major development is vital.

Applicants need to be CCAB qualified, with strong technical and analytical capabilities. Experience using Power BI and Sage software will also be favourable.
