Senior Management Accountant

We’re working on a new and important role with a Local Authority, supporting Adult’s and Children’s Social Care. Tasked with supporting the Finance Business Partner in budget management and analysis whilst meeting with and advising key stakeholders, it’s a great chance to make an impact on an important service within a good team. The role is continuity cover pending permanent recruitment, following a restructure in early autumn.

The post holder will work closely with the Finance Business Partner to ensure financial analysis is carried out to a high standard, enabling educated decision-making and driving financial strategy for these vital services. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and work collaboratively to match the culture of the organisation. Specific experience in Adult’s or Children’s Social Care is not essential but is favourable.
